H&R Block in Taylorville, IL is seeking a seasonal, experienced Tax Professional to serve clients with diverse tax needs under the support of an expert team and enhanced training.

You will conduct tax interviews face-to-face and via virtual tools, prepare complete returns, generate growth and client retention, and mentor teammates. This role requires 5+ years in accounting/tax, a Bachelor’s in accounting or related field; CPA/EA preferred. Compensation ranges $17.00–$25.00 per hour.

Competenze

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools – video, phone, chat, email
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services
• Provide clients with IRS support
• Must complete continuing education requirement and meet all other IRS and applicable state requirements
• High school diploma / equivalent or higher
