Job summary

H&R Block in the United States is seeking a seasonal Tax Professional to serve clients with diverse tax needs and deliver advanced tax training. You’ll conduct interviews, prepare returns, and support clients with IRS notices, while growing client relationships under franchise guidance.

Ideal candidates have CPA/EA or progress toward certification, 5+ years in tax or accounting, and comfort with virtual interview tools.

Qualifications

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools – video, phone, chat, email.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns.
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services.
• Provide clients with IRS support (All certification levels can provide tax notice services; Circular 230 associates can provide audit representation).
• Mentor and support teammates.
