H&R Block is seeking a seasonal Tax Professional to serve clients with diverse tax needs, using video, phone, chat, and email tools. You’ll receive advanced tax training and support from a team of tax experts to help clients make informed financial decisions.

The role involves conducting tax interviews, preparing accurate returns, and driving client growth and retention in a fast-paced franchise office environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification.
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership).
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax.
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews.
• Experience with tax planning and audit support.
• Sales and/or marketing experience.
• Must complete continuing education and meet IRS/state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools – video, phone, chat, email
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services
• Provide clients with IRS support
• Mentor and support teammates
