H&R Block is seeking a seasonal, experienced Tax Professional to serve clients with diverse tax needs, backed by an expert team and advanced tax training. In this role you will conduct tax interviews with clients face-to-face and virtually, prepare complete and accurate returns, and help grow the business by offering additional products and services while mentoring teammates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field required.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification preferred.
• Experience handling complex returns (individual, trust, partnership).
• 5+ years in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax.
• Experience with virtual tax interviews.
• Tax planning and audit support experience.
• Sales/marketing experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools – video, phone, chat, email.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns.
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services.
• Provide clients with IRS support.
• Mentor and support teammates.
