Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; continuing education and IRS/state requirements must be met.
• 1+ year of tax preparation or related experience including individual and business returns.
• Experience in a client-facing, consultative, or advisory role.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to explain tax concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients with diverse tax situations.
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand financial life and tax implications.
• Provide IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance as needed.
• Identify tax savings opportunities and cross-sell relevant HR Block products.
• Collaborate with team to maintain a positive, client-focused office environment.
