Job summary

H&R Block is hiring a seasonal Experienced Tax Professional in Bloomington to serve clients with complex tax situations. You will prepare complete tax returns for individuals and businesses, interview clients to uncover financial details, and provide personalized tax-saving recommendations using Block's training and tools.

You will advise on tax implications, support IRS inquiries, and collaborate with colleagues to ensure a high-quality client experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in tax preparation, accounting, finance, or bookkeeping.
• Experience in a client facing, consultative, or advisory role.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to explain tax concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses.
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to assess financial situations and tax implications.
• Identify tax savings opportunities and recommend H&R Block products.
