H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a seasonal Experienced Tax Professional to guide clients through complex tax situations with confidence. You’ll prepare accurate returns, uncover savings opportunities, and build lasting client relationships with our training, technology, and incentive plan.

This in-person role is based at a local H&R Block tax office in Kilgore, Texas. You will interview clients, prepare individual and business returns, provide IRS support, and collaborate with the team to deliver

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the HR Block Tax Knowledge Assessment
• Minimum 1 year of experience in tax preparation, accounting, finance, or bookkeeping
• Experience in client-facing, consultative or advisory roles
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain tax concepts clearly
• Must meet IRS and state continuing education requirements

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses
• Conduct client interviews to understand financial situations and implications
