Qualifications

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in tax preparation or related fields.
• Experience working in a client-facing, consultative role.
• Must complete continuing education and meet IRS/state requirements.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients with diverse tax situations.
• Conduct client interviews to understand finances and tax implications, then provide guidance.
• Identify tax savings opportunities and cross-sell H&R Block products.
• Provide IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance as needed.
• Collaborate with the office team to maintain a positive client-focused environment.
