H&R Block is seeking a Seasonal Experienced Tax Professional to join our in-person tax office. You will prepare complete returns for individuals and businesses, interview clients to understand their financials, and provide clear recommendations.

Build lasting client relationships by delivering empathetic service and uncovering tax savings opportunities. You will also assist with IRS notices and audit guidance as needed, collaborating with a team to maintain a client-focused environment.

Formación

• Minimum 1 year of experience in tax preparation, accounting, finance, or bookkeeping, including preparing individual and business returns
• Experience in a client-facing, consultative, or advisory role
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to explain tax concepts clearly
• Must complete continuing education and meet IRS/state requirements
• High school diploma / GED / equivalent required

Responsabilidades

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients with diverse and complex tax situations, including individual and business returns
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand financial situations and tax implications
• Build trusted client relationships by delivering empathetic, consultative service and identifying tax savings opportunities
• Provide IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance to clients as needed
• Collaborate with team members and contribute to a positive, client-focused office environment
