H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a seasonal Experienced Tax Professional for in-person service at a local tax office in Illinois.

You will prepare and review returns, interview clients to understand their financial situations, and provide personalized tax-saving recommendations. With industry-leading training and technology, you’ll build trusted client relationships and contribute to a supportive, high-performing office culture.

Formación

• Strong verbal and written communication skills; explain tax concepts clearly.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in tax preparation, accounting, finance, or bookkeeping.
• Experience in client-facing, consultative roles.
• Must complete CE and meet IRS/state requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients (individuals and businesses).
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand financial situations and tax implications; provide recommendations.
• Identify tax savings opportunities and cross-sell H&R Block products.
• Provide IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive client-focused office environment.
