This role is in-person at a local H&R Block tax office. You will conduct client interviews, provide personalized recommendations, and build lasting client relationships while delivering tax services and supporting tax products.

Qualifications

• Must complete the Tax Knowledge Assessment or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in tax preparation or related field.
• Experience in a client-facing, consultative, or advisory role.
• Strong verbal and written communication; ability to explain tax concepts clearly.
• Must meet continuing education and IRS/state requirements.
• High school diploma / GED / equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses.
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand tax implications and opportunities.
• Provide personalized recommendations and identify tax savings opportunities.
• Provide IRS support, notice assistance, and audit guidance as needed.
