H&R Block, Inc. is seeking an experienced Tax Professional to join as a seasonal in-person role in our local office. You will prepare complete and accurate returns for individuals and businesses, conduct in-depth client interviews, and deliver tailored recommendations to maximize savings.

Build trusted relationships while providing IRS support and audit guidance. You will collaborate with colleagues, share knowledge, and contribute to a client‑focused environment.

Qualifications

• Must have completed the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in tax preparation, accounting, finance, or bookkeeping.
• Experience in a client-facing, consultative, or advisory role.
• Strong verbal and written communication; explain tax concepts clearly.
• Must meet continuing education and IRS/state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses.
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to assess financial situations and tax implications.
• Build trusted client relationships and identify tax savings opportunities and products.
