Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a Seasonal Experienced Tax Professional to help clients navigate complex tax situations with confidence. You will prepare returns, interview clients, and provide personalized recommendations using our training and technology.

In this in-person role, you will build lasting client relationships, identify tax savings opportunities, and support clients through IRS notices when needed. Prior tax experience and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment
• At least 1 year of tax preparation experience
• Experience in client-facing advisory roles
• Ability to explain tax concepts clearly to clients
• Must complete continuing education and meet IRS/state requirements
• Bachelor’s degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients with diverse situations
• Interview clients to understand financial situations and tax implications
• Identify tax savings opportunities and promote H&R Block products
• Provide IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance as needed
• Collaborate with team to maintain a client-focused office environment
