H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a seasonal Experienced Tax Professional in Fremont to prepare complex tax returns and advise clients. You will interview clients, identify tax savings opportunities, and deliver personalized recommendations while building lasting relationships.

In addition to industry-leading training and technology, you will work in a local office environment, with compensation reflecting an incentive plan aligned to impact and expertise in tax preparation.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the HR Block Tax Knowledge Assessment.
• Minimum 1 year of tax preparation, accounting, finance, or bookkeeping experience.
• Experience in a client-facing, consultative, or advisory role.
• Strong verbal and written communication; ability to explain tax concepts clearly.
• Must complete continuing education and meet IRS/state requirements.
• High school diploma / GED / equivalent.

Responsabilités

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients with diverse and complex situations.
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand financial situations and tax implications.
• Provide personalized recommendations and build trusted client relationships.
• Offer IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance as needed.
• Collaborate with team members and contribute to a positive client-focused office.
