Job summary

H&R Block is seeking a seasonal Experienced Tax Professional to prepare complex individual and business returns, interview clients, and provide personalized tax guidance in a local tax office. You will help clients maximize savings, leverage our training and technology, and build lasting relationships through trusted advisory service.

In this role, you will work in person, collaborate with team members, handle IRS notices when needed, and contribute to a supportive, client-focused office

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in accounting/finance.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent credential preferred.
• Experience with tax preparation for individuals and businesses beneficial.
• Strong communication and client-interaction skills.
• Ability to explain tax concepts clearly to clients.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients with diverse situations.
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand financials and tax implications.
• Provide tax savings opportunities and recommend H&R Block products.
• Assist with IRS notices and audit guidance as needed.
• Collaborate with team to maintain a positive client-focused office.
