H&R Block is seeking a Seasonal Experienced Tax Professional to prepare accurate returns and advise clients in person at a local tax office. You will interview clients, identify savings opportunities, and deliver clear recommendations while delivering empathetic, consultative service.

Applicants should have 1 year of tax or related experience, strong communication skills, and be prepared to meet IRS/state requirements. In-office role with an incentive plan and competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication; explain tax concepts clearly.
• Experience in a client facing, consultative, or advisory role.
• Must complete continuing education and meet IRS/state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients with diverse situations.
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand financials and implications.
• Identify tax savings opportunities and relevant H&R Block products.
• Provide IRS support, notice assistance, and audit guidance as needed.
• Collaborate with team to maintain a client-focused office environment.
