You’ll prepare accurate returns, uncover savings opportunities, and grow your tax expertise using our industry-leading training and technology at a local tax office. In this in-person role, you’ll interview clients, assess diverse tax scenarios, deliver clear recommendations, and build trusted relationships.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of HR Block Tax Knowledge Assessment
• Minimum 1 year of experience in tax preparation or related field
• Experience in client-facing, consultative, or advisory role
• Strong written and verbal communication with ability to explain tax concepts clearly
• Must meet IRS/state continuing education requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses
• Conduct client interviews to understand financial situations and tax implications
• Provide tax-saving recommendations and explain options
• Offer IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance as needed
• Collaborate with team to maintain a positive client-focused office environment
