H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a seasonal Experienced Tax Professional to help clients navigate complex tax situations with confidence. You will prepare returns, interview clients, and offer personalized recommendations, supported by training and technology, at a local tax office.

This in-person role rewards accuracy and client service with an incentive plan. You’ll collaborate with a team, handle diverse tax scenarios, and help clients maximize savings while learning tax products and processes.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in tax preparation or related fields.
• Experience in a client-facing, advisory role.
• Strong verbal and written communication; explain tax concepts clearly.
• Must complete continuing education and meet IRS/state requirements.
• Completion of H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses.
• Conduct in-depth client interviews and provide personalized recommendations.
• Identify tax savings opportunities and promote relevant H&R Block products.
• Provide IRS support and audit guidance as needed.
• Collaborate with team and contribute to a positive, client-focused office.
