You will interview clients face-to-face or via virtual tools, prepare returns, and help grow the business while mentoring teammates.

Requires accounting-related degree or CPA/EA preferred; strong communication and compliance with IRS rules.

Qualifications

• Experience completing individual returns
• Experience with tax planning and audit support
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews
• Experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax
• Comfort working with virtual tools – video, phone and chat
• Ability to effectively communicate in person, via phone and in writing
• Must complete continuing education requirement and meet all IRS/state requirements
• High school diploma / equivalent or higher

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools – video, phone, chat, email
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services
• Provide clients with IRS support
• Mentor and support teammates

Education

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field

CPA or Enrolled Agent certification

High school diploma / equivalent or higher
