Qualifications

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment
• Minimum 1 year of experience in tax preparation or related field
• Experience in client facing, consultative, or advisory roles
• Strong verbal and written communication; explain tax concepts clearly
• Complete continuing education and meet IRS/state requirements
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to assess financial situations
• Identify tax savings opportunities and recommend H&R Block products
• Provide IRS support, tax notices, and audit guidance as needed
• Collaborate with team members and maintain a client-focused office environment
