Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a seasonal Experienced Tax Professional to prepare accurate tax returns and identify savings opportunities for clients in a local office.

You will interview clients to understand financial situations and provide clear recommendations, backed by training and technology. You’ll build trusted client relationships through empathetic, consultative service, and work on in-person tax matters at a local office.

Qualifications

• Passed HR Block Tax Knowledge Assessment
• Minimum 1 year of tax prep/related experience
• Experience in client-facing, consultative role
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients with diverse and complex situations
• Conduct client interviews to understand financials and tax implications
• Provide clear, personalized tax savings recommendations and cross-sell HR Block products
• Provide IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance as needed
• Collaborate with team to maintain a positive client-focused office environment
