H&R Block, Inc. is hiring a seasonal Experienced Tax Professional to prepare accurate tax returns for individuals and small businesses in a local tax office.

You will interview clients, assess financial situations, and provide tailored tax guidance with a focus on savings opportunities. You’ll leverage our training and technology to deliver client-centered service, build trusted relationships, and contribute to a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Requires completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment.
• Minimum 1 year of tax prep or related experience.
• Experience in a client-facing, consultative role.
• Strong verbal and written communication; ability to explain tax concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses.
• Conduct client interviews to understand financial situations and tax implications.
• Identify tax savings opportunities and cross-sell applicable products.
• Provide IRS support, notices, and audit guidance as needed.
• Collaborate with team to maintain a positive, client-focused office environment.
