Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in tax preparation, accounting, finance, or bookkeeping
• Ability to interview clients to understand financial situations and tax implications
• Clear, client-friendly communication of tax concepts
• Completion of required IRS/state continuing education and credentials
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients with diverse tax situations
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand financial life changes and implications
• Provide personalized recommendations and identify tax savings opportunities
• Offer IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance as needed
