H&R Block is seeking a seasonal Experienced Tax Professional to guide clients through complex tax situations, prepare accurate returns, and uncover savings opportunities. You will provide trusted, empathetic service and use industry-leading training and tools to support clients.

This in-person role at a local H&R Block tax office emphasizes client-focused service, clear explanations of tax concepts, and collaboration with team members to deliver exceptional results.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the HR Block Tax Knowledge Assessment.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in tax preparation or related fields including preparing returns for individuals and businesses.
• Experience in a client-facing, consultative, or advisory role.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to explain tax concepts clearly to clients.
• Must complete continuing education and meet IRS/state requirements.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsabilités

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients with diverse and complex tax situations.
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand financial situations and tax implications.
• Build trusted client relationships and identify tax savings opportunities and HR Block products.
• Provide IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive, client-focused office environment.
