H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a seasonal Experienced Tax Professional to join a local tax office. You will prepare complete and accurate tax returns for clients with diverse situations, conduct in-depth client interviews, and deliver personalized recommendations to maximize savings.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the HR Block Tax Knowledge Assessment
• Minimum 1 year of experience in tax preparation including individual and business returns
• Experience in a client facing, consultative, or advisory role
• Strong verbal and written communication with ability to explain tax concepts clearly
• Must complete continuing education and meet IRS and state requirements
• High school diploma / GED / equivalent

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients with diverse and complex tax situations
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand financial situations and tax implications
• Build trusted client relationships by delivering empathetic, consultative service and identifying tax savings opportunities
• Provide IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance to clients as needed
• Collaborate with team members and contribute to a positive, client-focused office environment
