H&R Block is seeking a seasonal Experienced Tax Professional to help clients navigate complex tax situations. You will prepare accurate returns for individuals and businesses, conduct client interviews, and provide personalized tax guidance at a local H&R Block office.

This role offers in-person work with a competitive hourly rate and an incentive plan. You will grow your tax expertise through industry-leading training and technology, delivering empathetic, client-focused service.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in tax preparation, accounting, finance, or bookkeeping, including individual and business returns.
• Ability to interview clients to understand financial situations and tax implications.
• Experience in a client-facing, consultative, or advisory role.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients with diverse tax situations, including individual and business returns.
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand financial situations and implications, and provide recommendations.
• Build trusted client relationships through empathetic, consultative service and identify tax savings opportunities and relevant products.
• Provide IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive, client-focused office environment.
