H&R Block is seeking a seasonal Experienced Tax Professional to help clients navigate complex tax situations with confidence. You will prepare accurate returns for individuals and businesses, interview clients, and offer personalized recommendations, backed by strong training and technology.

This in-person role features a competitive hourly rate and an incentive plan tied to impact while you build tax expertise. This role is in-person at a local H&R Block tax office.

Qualifications

• Completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment
• 1 year of tax preparation or related experience
• Experience in client-facing, consultative roles
• Ability to explain tax concepts in client-friendly language
• Must meet IRS/state continuing education requirements
• High school diploma or GED required

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand financial situations
• Provide personalized recommendations and tax savings opportunities
• Offer IRS support, tax notices assistance, and audit guidance
• Collaborate with team to maintain a positive, client-focused office environment
