Qualifications

• Completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment
• Minimum 1 year of tax prep or related experience
• Experience in a client-facing advisory role
• Ability to explain tax concepts clearly
• Ongoing continuing education and IRS/state requirements

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients with diverse tax situations
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand finances and tax implications
• Provide personalized recommendations and uncover savings opportunities
• Provide IRS support, notices, and audit guidance as needed
• Collaborate with team and maintain a positive client-focused office environment
