This in-person role is based at a local HR Block tax office, offering an hourly rate, incentive plan, and opportunities to grow in tax and financial services.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the HR Block Tax Knowledge Assessment.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in tax preparation or related field.
• Experience in a client-facing advisory role.
• Strong verbal and written communication; explain tax concepts clearly.
• Must complete ongoing IRS/state requirements and CE.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients with diverse and complex situations.
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand finances and life changes.
• Provide personalized recommendations and tax savings opportunities.
• Offer IRS support, notices, and audit guidance when needed.
