Qualifications

• Completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment.
• 1+ year of tax preparation, accounting, finance, or bookkeeping with individual and business returns.
• Experience in client-facing, consultative, or advisory roles.
• Strong verbal and written communication, able to explain tax concepts clearly.
• Must complete continuing education and meet IRS/state requirements.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses.
• Conduct client interviews to understand finances and tax implications.
• Provide actionable tax savings recommendations and cross-sell relevant services.
• Provide IRS support, notices, and audit guidance as needed.
