H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a seasonal Experienced Tax Professional to prepare complete tax returns and advise clients on tax outcomes. You will interview clients, assess complex situations, and deliver personalized recommendations while building trusted relationships in a local office.

You will provide IRS support and collaborate with the team to ensure accurate filings, exceptional service, and adherence to IRS/state requirements, in a busy in-person office setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in tax preparation or related field.
• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment.
• Experience in a client-facing, consultative, or advisory role.
• Ability to explain tax concepts in client-friendly language.
• Must complete continuing education and meet IRS/state requirements.

Responsabilités

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients with diverse situations.
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to assess financial situations and tax implications.
• Provide personalized recommendations and identify tax savings opportunities.
• Offer IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance as needed.
