Qualifications

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in tax preparation or related fields.
• Experience in client-facing, consultative roles.
• Strong communication skills, able to explain tax concepts clearly.
• Must meet continuing education and IRS/state requirements.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients with diverse tax situations, including individuals and businesses.
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand financial situations and tax implications; provide clear recommendations.
• Build trusted client relationships and identify tax savings opportunities and product options.
• Provide IRS support, notice assistance, and audit guidance as needed.
