Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a seasonal Experienced Tax Professional to prepare accurate returns for individuals and businesses, interviewing clients to understand financials and provide personalized recommendations.

You will help clients navigate complex tax situations with empathy and clear guidance, while leveraging Block’s training and technology. This in-person role at a local H&R Block tax office offers an opportunity to build client relationships, uncover tax savings, and grow tax expertise

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance preferred.
• 1+ year of tax preparation or related experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication; ability to explain tax concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients with diverse situations.
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand financials and implications.
• Identify tax savings opportunities and offer relevant Block products.
• Provide IRS support and notice assistance as needed.
• Collaborate with team to maintain a positive client-focused office environment.
