H&R Block is seeking a seasonal Experienced Tax Professional to prepare accurate returns for individuals and businesses, interview clients to understand changes, and offer personalized tax-saving recommendations. You will support clients with IRS notices and audit guidance, while collaborating with teammates to maintain a supportive, client-focused office environment.

Ideal candidates bring at least 1 year of tax-related experience, strong communication skills, and a track record in advisory

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in tax preparation or related fields.
• Experience in client facing, consultative roles.
• Strong communication skills, able to explain tax concepts clearly.
• Must meet IRS and state continuing education requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses.
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to assess financial situations and implications.
• Identify tax savings opportunities and suggest relevant products.
• Provide IRS support, notices guidance, and audit assistance as needed.
