H&R Block is seeking an Experienced Tax Professional for in-person, seasonal work at a local tax office. You will prepare complete and accurate returns for individuals and businesses, conduct in-depth client interviews, and provide personalized recommendations to maximize tax savings.

Qualifications

• Completed the HR Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or equivalent
• 1+ year experience in tax preparation or related fields
• Experience in client-facing, consultative roles
• Strong verbal and written communication, able to explain tax concepts clearly
• Must meet IRS/state requirements and continue education requirements

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses
• Conduct client interviews to assess financial situations and tax implications
• Build trusted client relationships and identify tax savings opportunities
• Provide IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance as needed
