Job summary

H&R Block is seeking a Seasonal Experienced Tax Professional to prepare complete and accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses, while interviewing clients to uncover financial situations and tax implications. You will provide personalized recommendations and help clients save on taxes in a collaborative local office.

You will deliver empathetic, consultative service, build lasting client relationships, and offer IRS support and audit guidance as needed.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; continuing education as needed.
At least 1 year of experience in tax preparation, accounting, finance, or bookkeeping; incl. individual and business returns.
Experience in a client-facing, consultative, or advisory role.

Responsibilities

Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for diverse and complex situations (individual and business).
Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand financial situations and tax implications; provide personalized recommendations.
Build trusted client relationships and identify tax savings opportunities and relevant H&R Block products.
Provide IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance as needed.
Collaborate with team members and contribute to a positive, client-focused office environment.
