You’ll build trusted relationships through empathetic, consultative service and collaborate with teammates. 1+ year tax experience and a high school diploma are required; ongoing education and IRS/state requirements must be met.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in tax preparation or related fields.
• Experience in client-facing, consultative roles.
• Strong verbal and written communication; clear tax explanations.
• Must complete continuing education and meet IRS/state requirements.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for diverse clients and businesses.
• Conduct client interviews to understand financial situations and tax implications.
• Provide personalized recommendations and highlight savings opportunities.
• Deliver empathetic, consultative service and support related H&R Block products.
• Provide IRS support and audit guidance as needed; collaborate with team.
