H&R Block is seeking an experienced Tax Professional for the tax season to service clients with diverse needs and provide advanced tax training. You’ll interview clients virtually or in person, prepare accurate returns, and help grow the client base while mentoring teammates.

The role emphasizes delivering high-quality service under a franchise office, with tax knowledge assessment and IRS/state requirements to maintain licensure.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification.
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership).
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax.
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews.
• Experience with tax planning and audit support.
• Sales and/or marketing experience.
• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools – video, phone, chat, email.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns.
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services.
• Provide clients with IRS support.
• Mentor and support teammates.
• All certification levels can provide tax notice services.
• Circular 230 associates can provide audit representation.
• Ability to effectively communicate in person, via phone and in writing.
• High school diploma / equivalent or higher.
