Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking an experienced Tax Professional for a seasonal role to assist clients with diverse tax needs and to provide advanced tax training and support from a knowledgeable team.

You will conduct in-depth tax interviews, prepare complete returns, and help grow the practice by expanding client relationships and services, including IRS support and audit-related assistance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification.
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership).
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax.
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews.
• Experience with tax planning and audit support.
• Sales and/or marketing experience.
• Must complete continuing education requirement and meet IRS/state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools – video, phone, chat, email.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns.
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services.
• Provide clients with IRS support.
• Mentor and support teammates.
