Qualifications

• Complete the HR Block Tax Knowledge Assessment.
• 1 year of tax preparation or related experience including individual and business returns.
• Experience in a client-facing, advisory role.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to explain tax concepts simply.
• Must complete continuing education and meet IRS and state requirements.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients with diverse and complex situations.
• Conduct client interviews to understand financials and tax implications, offering clear recommendations.
• Build trusted client relationships and identify tax savings opportunities and relevant HR Block products.
• Provide IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance as needed.
• Collaborate with team members and maintain a positive client-focused office environment.
