H&R Block, Inc. is hiring a seasonal, experienced Tax Professional to serve clients with diverse tax needs and provide advanced tax training to help you be successful.

In this role you will conduct tax interviews, prepare complete returns, and support clients with IRS notices while growing client relationships and driving business growth. A CPA/EA is preferred and a Bachelorish degree in accounting or related field is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field required.
• CPA or EA certification preferred.
• 5+ years of accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax experience.
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews and tax planning.
• Sales and/or marketing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns.
• Generate business growth and increase client retention.
• Provide clients with IRS support, including audit representation where applicable.
• Mentor and support teammates.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field

CPA or Enrolled Agent certification
