Job summary

H&R Block is seeking a Seasonal Tax Associate to meet with clients, gather information, and prepare tax returns with guidance from experienced teammates. You’ll explain tax information clearly and identify opportunities to save on taxes, while building strong client relationships in a busy office environment.

Training is provided from day one; there’s growth in tax knowledge and earnings as you advance. This is an in-person role at a local H&R Block tax office during tax season.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in customer service environments is preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities are essential.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training from experienced teammates.
• Explain tax information clearly and provide client-friendly recommendations.
• Identify tax savings opportunities and suggest relevant products and services.
• Build strong client relationships and support office priorities through teamwork.
