H&R Block is seeking a seasonal Experienced Tax Professional to prepare accurate tax returns for a diverse client base. You will interview clients to understand their financial situations, identify savings opportunities, and provide clear, personalized recommendations using advanced training and tools.

Role is in-person at a local H&R Block tax office, with an emphasis on delivering empathetic service and building lasting client relationships while meeting IRS/state requirements.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in tax preparation and in handling individual and business returns.
• Experience in client-facing advisory roles and explaining tax concepts clearly.
• Must meet continuing education and IRS/state requirements; HS diploma or GED required.

Responsabilités

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses.
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to assess financial situations and tax implications.
• Identify tax savings opportunities and recommend relevant H&R Block products.
• Provide IRS support, tax notice assistance and audit guidance as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive client-focused office environment.
