Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a seasonal Experienced Tax Professional to help clients with complex tax situations. You will prepare accurate returns, interview clients, and uncover savings opportunities using our training and technology.

You’ll build trusted relationships, provide guidance on tax implications, and support office team with a client-focused approach. This in-person role offers competitive pay and opportunities to grow in tax and financial services.

Qualifications

• Must complete H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment
• At least 1 year of tax preparation experience including individuals and businesses
• Experience in client-facing advisory roles
• Strong communication skills to explain tax concepts clearly
• Must meet IRS and state continuing education requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent required

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete tax returns for individuals and businesses
• Conduct client interviews to assess financial situations and tax implications
• Identify tax savings opportunities and present recommendations
• Provide IRS support and audit guidance as needed
