Job summary

H&R Block is seeking a Seasonal Experienced Tax Professional to prepare accurate tax returns for clients with diverse situations and to build lasting client relationships.

You will conduct client interviews, identify savings opportunities, and provide guidance on tax implications, supported by extensive training and technology. This in-person role offers a competitive hourly rate and incentive plan as you deepen your tax expertise.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the HR Block Tax Knowledge Assessment.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in tax preparation or related field.
• Experience in a client-facing, consultative, or advisory role.
• High school diploma / GED or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients with diverse and complex tax situations.
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand financial situations and tax implications.
• Identify tax savings opportunities and cross-sell HR Block products.
• Provide IRS support and audit guidance to clients as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive client-focused office environment.
