Qualifications

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in tax preparation or related fields.
• Experience in client-facing, consultative roles and ability to explain tax concepts clearly.
• Must complete continuing education and meet IRS/state requirements.
• In-person office work in a tax office setting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses.
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand finances and life changes.
• Provide personalized recommendations and identify tax-saving opportunities.
• Offer IRS support, tax notices guidance, and audit assistance when needed.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive, client-focused office.
