H&R Block is seeking a seasonal Tax Professional to deliver expert tax preparation and client service. You will conduct tax interviews, prepare returns, and support clients through IRS notices, with access to advanced training and a dedicated team.

The role focuses on delivering accurate returns for individuals, trusts, and partnerships, while pursuing client growth and upselling additional services in a fast-paced franchise office setting.

Qualifications

• Must have completed a degree in accounting or related field and possess CPA/EA certification.
• Ability to conduct tax interviews and prepare returns with accuracy.
• Experience handling complex individual, trust and partnership returns.
• Strong communication and client-facing skills; mentor teammates.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and via virtual tools.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns for diverse clients.
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and cross-sell services.
• Provide clients with IRS support and audit notice assistance.
