This in-person role offers an hourly rate and incentive plan to reward impact as you grow tax expertise and serve clients. The position emphasizes client interviews, personalized tax recommendations, and collaboration with team members in a local office

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment.
• Minimum 1 year of tax preparation/related experience.
• Experience in a client-facing, advisory role.
• Must meet IRS and state continuing education requirements.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete tax returns for individuals and businesses.
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to assess financial situations and tax implications.
• Provide personalized recommendations and identify tax savings opportunities and product options.
• Provide IRS support and audit guidance as needed.
• Collaborate with team to maintain a positive client-focused office environment.
