Qualifications

• 1 year of tax preparation or related experience required
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Must complete continuing education and meet IRS/state requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand financials and tax implications
• Provide personalized tax savings recommendations and build client relationships
• Offer IRS support, tax notices, and audit guidance as needed
