The role emphasizes delivering empathetic, consultative service, handling diverse and complex returns, and providing IRS support and audit guidance when needed.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in tax preparation or related fields.
• Experience in client-facing, consultative, or advisory roles.
• Ability to explain tax concepts in client-friendly language.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients with diverse situations.
• Conduct client interviews to understand financials and tax implications.
• Provide clear recommendations and uncover tax savings opportunities.
• Offer IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance as needed.
• Collaborate with team and contribute to a client-focused office.
